What I’ve been up to…
Goodness me it’s been a while since I blogged! I’ve had a bad back which has meant I haven’t really done very much of late but it’s a lot better and I’m back in action at last!
There’s a couple of exciting things I should tell you about since I last blogged:
Two of my polymer clay beads were published in the Lark Book – 1000 Beads. This is the first time my work has been published in a book and I was thrilled! It’s a fabulous book full of gorgeous beads made out of many different materials but there are plenty of other polymer clay beads too. Here’s one of them, it’s a large hollow bead.
I’ve been to the International Polymer Clay Association Eurosynergy Conference in Malta. I had a fantastic week learning new skills and endlessly talking polymer clay with fellow artists from all over the world! I will try and blog a little more about that soon.
I am looking at workshop and sale dates for the year and have updated my diary page and added some events on facebook too. I also am looking at dates for a Bristol Polymer Clay Group Meeting – this is an informal clay play day for those who are interested in polymer clay. You can find us on facebook if you want to meet up.
This weekend I am exhibiting my jewellery at the Southville Centre in Bristol as part of the Southbank Bristol Arts Trail so do come say’ H’i if you are in the area.
I hope the sun is shining where you are too – have fun! Cara
Congrats on being published, Cara!
Thank you Monique!
