Information about Polymania 2017

3 day polymer clay workshop at the 4 star Mercure Holland House Hotel and Spa, Redcliffe Hill, Bristol, BS1 6SQ, UK  on 10-12th  March 2017.

There were 3 different workshops at Polymania UK 2017:

Jana Roberts Benzon   ‘Into the Abstract’
In this exciting workshop, you’ll do double duty: having fun, and adding invaluable techniques and skills to your polymer knowledge arsenal! These funky, abstract brooch pins are a riot to make in and of themselves, but the bonus is that at the same time, you’ll learn new and innovative construction skills which will come in handy as you experiment with your polymer work at home.

Nikolina Otržan ‘Polygons’

In this class you’ll probably finish just one pendant, but Nik will show you all the other polygonal things she does as well!

Explore further, with ‘how to’s’ demoing Melanie’s new engineered joining techniques for earrings and more complex necklaces. Also includes quick and easy perfect finishing.

The Mercure Holland House Hotel and Spa  is a lovely hotel not far from the centre of Bristol. It is a 10 minute walk from the Bristol Temple Meads railway station and the airport bus stops just around the corner on Redcliffe Way. We will have access to the event suite until 11pm each night for those of you who want to carry on after the teaching has finished! There is free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

We will have a cane swap on the Friday night along with some demonstrations related to jewellery making other than polymer clay. More details will follow.
