Kinetic Wall Art/Brooch Use and Safety
The kinetic wall art/brooches are held in place with magnets. This makes them versatile, being able to be stored in the frame and displayed on the wall or used as a brooch. If you have bought one, thank you! I hope it brings you much joy! Please do see the magnet warning below.
Gently pull the item at the bottom (often the tail if it’s a bird) and the piece should move.
WARNING: This art is held in place by neodymium magnets. Keep away from children! Keep away from pacemakers, CRT monitors & televisions, credit cards and magnetically stored media. For full details of magnet safety, see this magnet safety sheet
It’s best to slide magnets apart. Gently slide the art piece down to remove it from the magnet at the back of the frame. In most cases, it’s best to hold it by the head or the place where the front and back are joined and not by the moving parts. It can be returned to the frame by gently offering the piece up to the middle, the magnet should guide it into place, you can straighten it’s position if needed.
To wear as a brooch, use the supplied magnet behind your clothing.

If you lose the magnet provided you can use another magnet or a piece of magnetic metal (coins and washers work well) or get in touch to purchase a replacement. Check that it will hold in place securely.
Whilst wearing be careful of bag straps etc which may damage the brooch. Wear it on your outer layer not under a coat!
Whilst it has been made to be as durable as possible, it is an art piece and should be handled with care!
